‘‘What’s Bugging You?’’
A solo Ceramics Exhibition
The Basement Vaults
Malta Society of Arts
31st May-15th June 2024
‘What’s Bugging You?’ presents a visual narrative of emotions and fears that derive from the exhilarating rhythms of contemporary society. Balancing between functionalism and surrealism, this show is an exploration of the human psyche through ceramics, aiming to give matter to everyday mental struggles, in seemingly functional and familiar settings.

To encounter the monster, is perhaps to encounter the other. This may be a cause of despair, one which grapples with our desire to be free from ourselves and at another, be fully ourselves. Such is the role monsters play in our lives, they come knocking on our doors, asking questions.
